The Fondation ARC Léopold Griffuel Award is the most important prize in the field of cancer research in Europe. Since 1970, it rewards scientists and physicians that have brought an important contribution to better understand, diagnose, cure and prevent cancers. For an amount of €150,000 per laureate, this award aims to promote and encourage further scientific projects. Each year, these awards recognize some of the most important international scientists in the field of cancer research.
Research can deal with all areas of cancer research through two prize categories:
1. Basic Research Award;
2. Translational & Clinical Research Award.
